Ah, you have one of those compact foldable doggos. Mine aren’t collapsible so they mostly just get in the way and push you off the couch.

A lot of dogs lie this way (with their pads together) instinctively because their pads are vulnerable to the cold... huskies often do a sort of extreme version where their feet are folded up under them to keep their pads off the ground and their tail is wrapped over their (similarly vulnerable) nose. My german shepherd learned this and several other habits from my older husky and looks like an idiot trying to do it with her much longer legs.

The long legs definitely present problems for my greyhounds at times. Well, it looks very awkward, but they obviously find it comfortable.

She can be a doughnut but bulldogs have heavy heads so they usually prop it up or hang it over the edge of things.
